MMT Spectrograph Hardware Settings


Please Note:

This archive contains the latest hardware settings for the MMT Spectrograph. Most of these refer to adjustments that are made only by qualified MMTO Personnel; i.e. changes that the observer is not authorized to make. If you think any adjustment is required, contact Dennis Smith.


Blue Channel Settings

  • Current Dewar Shim: 0.025 inches
  • Tirp Height: 0.600
  • Collimator Coarse Focus (normal): 1.100
  • Collimator Coarse Focus (warm weather): 0.800
  • Grating Angle for Echellette Approximately on Blaze: 3.745
  • Grating Change Parameters, Normal Gratings:
