III. OBSERVING CATALOGS
Hectospec/chelle observers are expected to submit their
configurations to the CfA at least 10 days before the Hectospec queue
begins, which may be well in advance of their own dates on
the mountain. Details of this process may be found at
Observers for other PI instruments are expected to prepare catalogs of their
observing lists prior to their run and to
submit them directly to the MMT well in advance of their
scheduled observations. The MMT catalog
submission page can be found at hacksaw.mmto.org/catalogs
IV. Observing Requirements
Note: Observers are strongly encouraged to obtain evening flats rather than morning flats.
Morning calibrations may require additional MMT staff support.
