The Tucson International Airport serves the metropolitan Tucson area. Transportation to area hotels is inexpensive via Taxi, or the Arizona Stagecoach Shuttle service. Reservations for the van service are not necessary.
Travelers to Tucson sometimes fly to Phoenix, which offers more flights and connections. Phoenix is about a 2 hour drive from Tucson. Shuttle services are available, with drop-off at the UA campus.

The Stillwell House is located in downtown Tucson at 134 S. 5th Avenue, one block south of Broadway on the northeast corner of 5th Avenue and 12th Street. It is a two story red brick building surrounded by a green iron fence. Parking is available anywhere on the street. Please do not block the driveway to the Stillwell House as it is reserved for personnel and catering needs. To see a map click here.
Directions from Doubletree Hotel: Depart the Doubletree to the north by turning right onto Alvernon. At the first traffic signal turn left (heading west) onto Broadway. Continue on Broadway towards downtown. After the underpass near downtown stay in the left-most lane and turn left onto Congress. Stay in the left lane! Turn left (south) at the first traffic signal onto 5th Avenue. Take 5th Avenue south two blocks. Stillwell House is on the right (west) side of the street on the northeast corner of 5th Avenue and 12 Street.
Directions from I-10: Take the Congress/Broadway/St. Mary's exit (exit #258). Head east (right) on Congress, which will become Broadway. Continue for a few blocks and turn right (south) onto 5th Avenue. Stillwell House is at the end of the block on the right.
Transportation: The Doubletree offers a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Tucson International Airport from 6AM to 10PM. Call the hotel direct (520-881-4200) from the accommodations board in baggage claim.
Directions from Tucson International Airport: To exit the airport, drive north on Tucson Blvd. 3 miles to Irvington. Turn right on Irvington, drive one (1) mile and turn left on Palo Verde. Palo Verde winds around a bit and becomes Alvernon Way. Continue on Alvernon past 22nd Street. The Doubletree is 1/2 mile down on the right side of the street, directly across from the golf course (about 7.5 miles to hotel). To see a map click here.
Directions from Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix: Take I-10 east to Tucson. Exit I-10 at the Congress/Broadway/St. Mary's exit. Head east on Congress, which will become Broadway, through downtown Tucson. Continue on Broadway several miles and turn right on Alvernon. The Doubletree is 1/2 mile down on the left side of the street, directly across from the golf course.
